In 1981, ROCUS International Corporation was founded in Taiwan. Seven years later, ROCUS (U.S.A.) Corporation dba NEON TECH was formed in San Diego, California with the sole purpose of manufacturing neon signs for various businesses. It was then that NEON TECH established its tradition of offering customers quality neon, affordable pricing, and superior service.

Over the years, our clientele grew. In order to accommodate our customers' needs, we expanded our operations overseas in 1994 to include an additional production facility, Shanghai Rocus Neon Electronic Co., and also relocated our corporate office and plant to a larger location in Oceanside, California. This expansion increased our production capability. Now, NEON TECH has the capacity to produce roughly 25,000 signs a month and growing. A new production facility triple the size of our existing plant will be fully operational in the beginning of 2006, which will double our current capacity.

Today, NEON TECH is the leading neon sign manufacturer in the world supplying large companies like Anheuser-Busch Companies, Miller Brewing Company, Molson Breweries Canada, Barton Beers Ltd., Coors Brewing Company, Pabst Brewing Company, D.G. Yuengling Brewery, and Labatt U.S.A. with quality neon signs.

-Original Systems

NEON TECH has patented a non-organic phosphorous coating system which uses a de-ionized water process. In the world, an organic slurry process coats all neon sign tubes except those manufactured by NEON TECH. An organic slurry process is easier to produce but with well-known adverse effects to the environment and the health of glass benders. From 1985, Neon Tech developed the non-organic process to coat neon tubes. This is a process that uses de-ionized water that does not cause environmental pollution or health hazards.

NEON TECH has also developed an automatic bombarding system. Our system ensures consistent high quality as each and every unit gets the maximum impurities pumped out of the tube and will receive the identical amount mercury and gases necessary to ensure perfect illumination.

-Our Technology

NEON TECH designed the world's first and only solid-state neon power supply, which is manufactured under the NEON TECH brand, it is an extremely competitive item in the market for world distribution. NEON TECH's neon power supply is UL listed and European CE approved. The power supply is manufactured out of injection molded nylon housing and weighs less than 2 pounds. This power supply has been field tested for over 10 years, and is still the best power supply around. The power supply unit itself employs a well-tested shut off switch that is activated under the condition of a leak, crack or broken tube. Needless to say, NEON TECH's power supply combines both efficiency and excellent quality to provide you with the brightest neon.
